Grazing

OilPainting7.png

Spur of the moment out of my head painting, the under painting was a severely ugly and poorly made abstract image. This was a challenge from someone to paint with a single small wash brush and a palette knife, and I think this is one of my most favorite paintings.

It was somewhat a strange day, my professor said I’ve never looked to happy in one of his classes up until this point- though granted I was smiling like a fool the whole time. I’m quite in love with this image.

This was done on 18″by24″ watercolor paper and sprayed with a fixative to help with potential rubbing on the oil paint- on paper it seems to scrape off easy.
